An attempt to do the circular walk around Big waters was stopped by high water levels, waders were required to access the hides. Wigeon were up to over fifty in number but other counts were down. The highlight of the visit was a fine imm female Peragrine falcon flying over.

Prestwick carr well flooded was host to 4 Ruff 2 Juv Grey plover and female Yellow wagtail.
so you didn't use that SCUBA gear I lent you ? That 4x4 in the picture looks suspiciously like the one that drives down the Bumpy Road with the owners dog running along beside it, if it was I hope the dog was hitching a ride that day.
Did not see a dog just lots of horses, its a good job the goats have not been mucked out for years as only the depth of their manure keeps them above the water
